Something Warm for the Cold
Well, It’s February 5th, 2007 and the cold that everyone has been asking about, is here. It’s officially freezing in the North East. I fell victim to “The Flu” last week and spent the past 7 days in bed. The temperature outside is about 10 degrees, but with the wind chill, it brings the temp down to about -1 degrees. Fortunately, the only thing we haven’t been crushed with (and dare I say) yet, is snow. We’ve only received a few inches which haven’t stuck around for more than a day or 2.
In a time like this, it’s nice to remember warmer days. The photos I’ve added below are 2 photographs that I took on a trip to San Carlos, Mexico nearly 2 years ago. It was a trip full of fun that started and ended with insanity. i hope they warm you up.
This first photo is one that I took from a friends balcony in Mexico. A woman named Sonia owned this beautiful house which sat upon a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was incredible and each sunset looked like this. Life didn’t get much better than drinking Margaritas every night with this view.

This second photograph is another one that I took during dinner. We sat at a small restaurant that had burned to the ground years ago. All that remained were the grils, 3 foot tall walls and plastic tables/chairs for people to sit at. The food was served on paper plates and devoured with plastic utenils. Believe it or not, the food was incredible and the view made it that much better. San Carlos is a place that I highly recommend anyone visit. It’s a quick 8 hour drive south of Phoenix, AZ.
